Information you provide. We may collect and store personal information you register with or use our Service or provide to us in some other manner, including your name, email address, phone number, password, and location. We may also collect any communications between you and WYD, as well as any information you provide if you take part in any interactive features of the Service. Information that is part of your profile will be viewable to other members of the service.

Data collected through the use of the Service. After you set up your account, you may choose to provide additional information which may be shared through public profiles, such as your photograph, biographical content, and other information (collectively, “Profile Information”). You control how much personally identifying information you wish to provide in your public profile. We also collect information about how you use the Service and about your actions on the Service, including your interaction with others on the Service, and User Content you post to the Service. Please remember that WYD may, but has no obligation to, monitor User Content posted by our members.

Information we receive from social networking sites. If you interact with our site through various social media, such as when you login through Facebook, or share WYD content on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram or other sites, we may receive information from the social network including your profile information, profile picture, gender, user name, user ID associated with your social media account, age range, language, country, friends list, and any other information you permit the social network to share with third parties. The data we receive is dependent upon your privacy settings with the social network, and we will not post information about you on third party social media sites without your consent. You should always review, and if necessary, adjust your privacy settings on third-party websites and services before linking or connecting them to our website or Service.

Address Book Information. With your permission, WYD may access your contact list available on your mobile device or in your email accounts in order to invite your friends and contacts to connect with our Service or to attend events. When we invite your friends to join the Service, we will include your name and photo to let them know that you are the person extending the invitation. After sending these invitations, we may also send reminder messages to your invitees on your behalf. We will store these contacts that you upload to the Service so that you may use them again at a later date. If your friend is a member of WYD, we will display his/her information as provided in his/her profile information. If the friend is not a member of WYD, we will display his/her name information as it is recorded in the contact information you provide to us.

We use this information to operate, maintain, and provide to you the features and functionality of the Service, as well as to communicate directly with you, such as to send you email message, text messages and push notifications, including device verification messages, and permit you to communicate with others through the Service or on social media. See “Your Choices Regarding Your Information,” below to learn more. We may also use information about your activities on the Service to provide personalized content, including targeted advertising. We may also send you Service-related emails or text messages (e.g., account verification, message notification, change or updates to features of the Service, technical and security notices). Use of cookies and other technology to collect information.

We automatically collect certain types of usage information when you visit our website or use our Service. When you visit the Service, we may send one or more cookies — a small text file containing a string of alphanumeric characters — to your computer that uniquely identifies your browser and lets us help you log in faster and enhance your navigation through the site. A cookie may also convey information to us about how you use the Service (e.g., the pages you view, the links you click, how frequently you access the Service, and other actions you take on the Service), and allow us to track your usage of the Service over time. If you are not a member, but your friend invites you to an event through the Service, information about you will appear to others on the Service exactly as your friend provided it in the invitation. ;

-We may permit you to interact with other users of the Service with whom you’ve interacted, though we do not share your contact information. For example, if you and another user were both invited to the same event, that user may be able to invite you to other events in the future, or to send you messages through the Service, but we will not provide that user your personal contact information other than the information that is displayed in your public profile (see “Your Choices Regarding Your Information” below);

-Third parties who may have content that may be of interest to you;

-Other brands owned or controlled by Yes, and other companies owned by or under common ownership as Yes, which also includes our subsidiaries (i.e., any organization we own or control) or our ultimate holding company (i.e., any organization that owns or controls us) and any subsidiaries it owns. These companies will use your personal information in the same way as we can under this Policy;

-Third party vendors, consultants and other service providers that perform services on our behalf, in order to carry out their work for us, which may include identifying and serving targeted advertisements, providing content and services, sending email and text messages, or providing analytics services;

Marketing Communications. If you do not wish to receive promotional emails, you can click the “unsubscribe” button on promotional email communications or text “STOP” to opt-out of promotional text messages. Note that you are not permitted to unsubscribe or opt-out of non-promotional messages regarding your account, such as account verification, change or updates to features of the Service, or technical and security notices.

User Messaging. We permit other users with whom you have had some interaction on the Service to contact you through the Service. For example, if you and another user are invited to the same event, we will permit that user to message you through the Service in the future, though we will not share any information other than that which is contained in your public profile information with that user without your consent.

Text Messages. The Service allows users to invite their friends to events via text message. You can text “MUTE” or “STOP” to opt-out of receiving further text messages sent in response to a particular WYD invitation. This opt-out will remove you from the particular chain of communication related to the same invitation. You can text “#STOPWYD” to opt-out of receiving all further text messages from the WYD service, including invitations to future events sent from people you may know. You may also email us at [email protected] to ask to be removed permanently from our Service.

Online Advertising. We and our third party partners may permit third party online advertising networks to collect information about your use of our Service over time so that they may play or display ads that may be relevant to your interests on our Service as well as on other websites or apps. Typically, the information we share is provided through cookies or similar tracking technologies. The only way to completely “opt out” of the collection of any information through cookies or other tracking technology is to actively manage the settings on your browser or mobile device. You may be able to “opt out” of the collection of information through cookies or other tracking technology by actively managing the settings on your browser or mobile device. Deleting or Anonymizing Your Content: If you are under 18 years of age, you may request that the User Content that you posted to the Service be deleted or anonymized such that your personal information will not be identifiable publicly on our Service by contacting us at [email protected],. While we will use all commercially reasonable efforts to delete or anonymize your User Content upon request, please be aware that due to the social nature of our Service, you may not be able to completely remove all of your personally identifiable User Content if, for example, that content has been stored, republished, or reposted by another user or a third party. We may also maintain your information in identifiable form for our internal use, even if your personal data is no longer visible to the public on our Service.

WYD cares about the security of your information and uses commercially reasonable physical, administrative, and technological safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of all information we collect and that we share with our service providers. However, no security system is impenetrable and we cannot guarantee the security of our systems 100%. In the event that any information under our control is compromised as a result of a breach of security, we will take reasonable steps to investigate the situation and where appropriate, notify those individuals whose information may have been compromised and take other steps, in accordance with any applicable laws and regulations.

Your information collected through the Service may be stored and processed in the United States or any other country in which Yes or its subsidiaries, affiliates or service providers maintain facilities. If you are located in the European Union or other regions with laws governing data collection and use that may differ from U.S. law, please note that we may transfer information, including personal information, to a country and jurisdiction that does not have the same data protection laws as your jurisdiction, and you consent to the transfer of information to the U.S. or any other country in which Yes or its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates or service providers maintain facilities and the use and disclosure of information about you as described in this Privacy Policy.

The Service and its content are not directed at children under the age of 13. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13 without parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.
